The Women’s network commenced in 2017 and consists of 25 Foundation members who make decisions. The official launch of the Women’s network was on 9 March 2018 with an event for International Women’s Day - “Inspirational women and their strategies for overcoming professional barriers.” The speakers were Sue Miller (Partner, Commercial Litigation Stephenson Harwood LLP); Edna do Rosário Martins (Strategic Business Change Director, Imperial College London); Toyin F Sanni (Group CEO United Capital, Nigeria); Millicent Grant (President, Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) and Ruona Iguyovwe OBE (Senior Specialist Prosecutor, Crown Prosecution Service).

The objective of the Women’s network is to empower women in the legal profession and also provide information on women issues through seminars, mentoring, career advice and guidance. The women of the network also offer assistance on topics such as women’s rights, equality and discrimination and will help women members in the profession dealing with challenging situations or needing professional advice.
